* AScT and CTech Applicants
Please be advised that registration requirements and procedures have been updated since January 1, 2024. For more details, please visit the webpage.
If you are applying for registration or reclassification and created an application before October 1, 2024 but have not submitted by January 31, 2025, you will not be able to submit it due to change in the system settings. If you still wish to apply, you must create a new application from scratch and submit it. Your previous application(s) will remain in your account for your reference.
* RFPT/ROWP Applications for Multiple Endorsements
At its meeting on November 21, 2025, the ASTTBC Board approved additional application fees for multiple endorsements within the RFPT and ROWP programs. Starting with the second endorsement, the fee for each additional endorsement will be $194 + GST. More details are available via RFPT and ROWP page on the website.

* Registered Technical Specialist (RTS) Applicants
ASTTBC is in consultation on the Registered Technical Specialist (RTS) designations. It is uncertain whether all RTS subclasses will continue with ASTTBC beyond 2026. Please read the RTS Review Consultation page and update for full details before starting your application. Please note, if an RTS group is eventually discontinued, the application fee and other registration fees will not be refundable.
In accordance with the RTS Final Report, RFPT and ROWP classes will not be impacted by the above.
